Yangtze Normal University, founded in 1931, is located in Fuling District, Chongqing city. It is the only undergraduate university on the strategic fulcrum of "one circle, two wings" in Chongqing city and a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance. In 2001, Fuling Teachers College (formerly known as Fuling County Rural normal school founded in 1931) and Fuling Institute of education merged and upgraded to Fuling normal college. In September 2006, the College changed its name to Changjiang normal college.According to the official website in January 2018, the school has two campuses, Lidu and Jiangdong.
