Guilin University of aerospace technology is located in Guilin, a famous historical and cultural city. It was subordinate to the former seventh Ministry of mechanical industry, the former Ministry of aerospace industry, the former Ministry of aerospace industry, and the former China Aerospace Industry Corporation. It was upgraded and renamed Guilin Institute of aerospace industry in February 1994, and was established in July 1998 It was transferred to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and upgraded to Guilin Institute of aerospace technology in April 2012.As of September 2018, the school covers an area of 1156.83 mu, with a total construction area of 585 Mu and total fixed assets of 475.7213 million yuan, including 167.6951 million yuan of teaching and research equipment; the school has 17 teaching units, 30 undergraduate majors and 16 Higher Vocational Majors; the school has 1209 teaching staff, including 677 full-time teachers and 15303 full-time college students.
