Hechi University, located in Yizhou District, Guangxi, is the only regular undergraduate college in Northwest Guangxi. Based on the former Hechi normal college, it is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of education in April 2003. The college implements the school running system of "autonomous region and Hechi City jointly build, autonomous region oriented".As of August 2016, the school covers an area of nearly 600 mu, with another 1800 mu of planned land. The existing building area of the campus is nearly 300000 square meters, the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is more than 120 million yuan, and the average student is more than 10000 yuan. The library has a total collection of more than 1 million books (including e-books). The university has 12 colleges and 46 undergraduate majors. There are more than 700 teaching staff, including more than 550 full-time teachers, more than 170 senior professional titles, more than 430 doctoral and master's degrees, and 13 master's tutors.
