Henan University of engineering, located in Zhengzhou City, the capital of Henan Province, is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of education and the people's Government of Henan Province. It has been selected as a model applied technology undergraduate university in Henan Province.The history of running the school can be traced back to the official secondary Industrial School of Henan Province established in 1910; in March 2007, Zhengzhou Economic Management Cadre College, which was founded in 1956, and Henan Textile College, which was founded in 1954, were merged into Henan Engineering College.As of June 2018, there are three campuses, Longhu campus, Tongbai Road Campus and Nanyang Road Campus, covering an area of more than 2629 Mu and a building area of 1.06 million square meters. At present, there are more than 21 undergraduate and full-time teaching units in economics, design, engineering, etc. At present, there are 1591 teaching staff and 1294 full-time teachers, including 118 with senior professional titles and 442 with deputy senior professional titles; among the teachers, there are 294 with doctor's degree and 749 with master's degree.
