Henan University of finance, economics and law is a provincial full-time ordinary university. It is a characteristic backbone University of Henan Province, a key project construction unit of doctor's degree award in Henan Province, and an ordinary university that recommends excellent fresh undergraduate graduates to study for postgraduates free of examination. It has been selected into the national "League of political science and law".The school was formed in March 2010 by the merger of the former Henan University of Finance and economics and the former Henan College of political science and law management.As of May 2019, the university has three campuses, Wenbei campus, Wennan campus and Zhengdong campus, covering an area of more than 2000 mu, with a total construction area of more than 1.1 million square meters; the library has a collection of more than 2.7 million paper books and more than 7 million electronic documents; there are more than 2000 staff and nearly 30000 full-time students; it has 26 departments, 65 undergraduate majors, and 11 master's degree authorized courses There are 15 authorized categories of master's degree.
