Anhui University of science and technology is located in Fengyang County and Bengbu City, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is an application-oriented high-level university in Anhui Province, serving the national special needs. It is a pilot unit of the master's degree talent training project. It has been selected into the "excellent engineer education and training plan" and "excellent agriculture and forestry talent education and training plan" of the Ministry of education It also includes the National College Students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the new engineering research and practice project, and the higher education revitalization plan of Anhui Province.Founded in 1950, the University began to hold undergraduate education in 1965 and obtained bachelor's degree awarding unit in 1993. After the changes of Fengyang branch of Anhui Agricultural University, Wanbei Agricultural University, Anhui Agricultural Technology Normal University and Anhui Technology Normal University, it was renamed as Anhui University of science and technology in 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of education. In 2009, the University was officially included in the provincial master project construction unit of Anhui Province.As of November 2019, the school has Fengyang campus and Bengbu Longhu campus, covering an area of more than 2000 mu, with a construction area of 580000 square meters; it has a collection of 1.37 million paper books and 1.28 million e-books; it has 14 secondary colleges, 50 undergraduate enrollment majors, covering agriculture, engineering, science, management, economics, arts, law, medicine and other disciplines; it has 6 provincial key disciplines and 11 characteristic majors;
