Jilin University of Finance and economics, referred to as Jilin University of Finance and Economics (JUFE), is a key university in Jilin Province. It is a school jointly built by the people's Government of Jilin Province and the State Administration of taxation. It is selected as the National College Students' cultural quality education base and a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance.The school started from the bank cadre training class held by the head office of northeast bank in July 1946, and experienced several historical periods, such as cadre school of northeast bank, special school of northeast bank, Changchun Bank School of people's Bank of China, Jilin finance and Trade College, Jilin finance and trade school, etc. in May 1978, Jilin finance and trade college was restored, in May 1992, it was renamed Changchun Taxation College, and in March 2010, it was renamed Jilin finance and trade college Lin University of Finance and economics.As of May 2016, the university has more than 13000 undergraduates, postgraduates and foreign students.
