Shenyang Normal University The University, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is organized and supervised by the people's Government of Liaoning Province. It has been selected into the Ministry of education's "excellent legal personnel education and training plan" and "excellent teacher training plan". It is one of the first batch of Pilot Universities to carry out comprehensive reform of professional degree graduate education by the Ministry of education and the second batch of national demonstration universities to deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education reform. It covers philosophy and economics It is a multi-disciplinary university in ten major categories: Law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management and art.Shenyang Normal University was founded in 1951, formerly known as Northeast Institute of education. It was renamed Shenyang Normal University in 1953; Liaoning first normal university in 1965; and the name of Shenyang Normal University was restored in 1978. In 2002, Shenyang Normal University and Liaoning Institute of education merged to form Shenyang Normal University.The school covers an area of 2220.9478 square meters from January to December, 2018. There are 19293 full-time undergraduates, 2917 postgraduates and 1029 long-term and short-term international students in the University. The university has 26 secondary colleges and 76 undergraduate majors.
